Self-roles and role rules

Let members pick their own roles from a menu, and have Omni give roles automatically when people join, get another role, or come back.

Make a role menu

Build it on the dashboard's Self-roles page, or with commands:

/selfroles create name:colours title:Pick a colour mode:Only one
/selfroles add panel:colours role:@Red emoji:🟥

Show the roles as buttons or a dropdown menu, with up to 25 roles each. Members can pick any number, only one (picking another swaps it), or up to a limit.

You can also lock a menu behind a role, a level or a streak, so for example only level 10+ members can pick from it.

Role rules

The dashboard's Role rules page gives roles automatically:

• When someone joins: a role for every new member, or a different one for bots.
• When someone gets a role: give or take another role with it.
• Give roles back on rejoin: members who leave and come back get their roles back.
• Top XP roles: a role for the most active members this week, month or all time.

Booster perks

Thank boosters in a channel, give them extra XP and coins, and let them make their own coloured role with /booster role. Set it up on the dashboard's Boosters page or with /booster config.

Activity roles

Give a role to members who post a lot or spend time in voice, and take it back when they go quiet. Omni checks every hour.
