Auto-mod and anti-raid

Auto-mod removes bad messages before your moderators have to. Anti-raid stops floods of new accounts and spam bots. Every check is off until you turn it on.

Turn on auto-mod checks

On the dashboard's Auto-mod page, give each check an action. Or use:

/automod check check:Scam links action:Delete + ban
/automod check check:Server invites action:Delete + warn

There are checks for blocked words, links, scam links, server invites, message spam, repeated messages, caps lock, mass mentions, emoji spam, zalgo text, file types, phone numbers, stickers and more.

A message that breaks a check is always deleted. The action decides what else happens: a warning, a timeout, a kick or a ban.

Words, links and exceptions

  • Blocked words: add your own, or load a starter list with /automod words.
  • Allowed links and servers: let through domains or servers you trust, such as partners.
  • Skip channels or roles: per check, or for all of auto-mod.

Members with Manage Messages are never checked, so your moderators won't trip it.

Stop raids

/antiraid setup

By default, 8 joins within 30 seconds counts as a raid. Omni then alerts your moderators, or kicks or bans everyone who joined in the burst. It can also pause invites for a few hours and kick brand-new accounts during the raid.

It watches for copy-paste spam too: when several members post the same message within 30 seconds, they're timed out.

Screen every join

Join rules check each new member, raid or not. Kick or ban accounts that are younger than a set number of days, have no profile picture, have an invite link in their name, have a username that's only numbers, or are bots without Discord's verified badge.

Catch spam bots with a honeypot

A honeypot is a decoy channel that real members are told not to use. Spam bots post everywhere, so whoever posts there is timed out, kicked or banned.
